Happy 4th of July!

We hope everyone has a fantastic and SAFE 4th of July weekend! Enjoy all those cookouts and spending time with family and friends. Get out and shoot some film! It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend, but if you find yourself needing to beat the heat for a few hours, go check out the fantastic documentary, Finding Vivian Maier. It is currently playing at the Carousel in Greensboro. If you haven't heard, Vivian Maier was a nanny in Chicago during the 1950s. During the next 40 years, she took over 100,00 photographs, mainly with a Rolleiflex TLR. The odd thing is, she never showed anyone her photographs. They weren't discovered until 2007 when they were purchased from a storage auction. The documentary itself is really well made and it is a fascinating story. It is definitely worth checking out, and again, have a great weekend!
